There are circuits on the DS200FHVAG1A board, what do these circuits do?

The circuits imbedded within the DS200FHVAG1A board are used to provide an isolated path for gate power from the FGPA board to one 77 mm SCR, light an LED mounted on the board to indicate when SCR blocking voltages are present, and sense the voltage drops across the SCR and send a signal back to the FGPA board when the voltage has surpassed a certain threshold.

To prevent overheating of the R1 and R2 resistor pins P1-1 and P1-2 should be shorted together.
