1. Factory setup

TC630 current output factory set to 4... 20 mA.

2. Configuration requirements

For devices operating in a Zone 2 / Div.2 environment, signals can be configured in either active or passive mode. External power supply must not be supplied to current output in active mode. If the signal is configured in passive mode, an external power supply must be provided to the current output.

3. Bus address setting

For cells with PROFIBUS PA, the bus address must be checked or configured before starting. If the customer does not provide bus address information, the bus address of the unit is set to "126". The bus address can be set in the following ways:

• Set locally on the unit (via DIP switch on the digital board)

• Use system tools

• With PROFIBUS DP main class 2 (such as Asset Vision Basic (DAT200))

4. Address selection

The selected address can appear only once in a segment.

5. Setting method

Address setting can be done in the following ways:

• Change the tag in the device terminal box

• Use the buttons on the menu and display board to set up
