Product Description
The DS200DACAG1ACC is part of the EX2100 Excitation module from General Electric. The module is used for field excitation in gas generators, steam generators, and hydroelectric generators, to help control AC terminal voltage and their reactive volt-amps. The EX2100 has a modular design that makes it simple to create a specially designed system with options as needed, whether this means using simplex or redundant controls, or drawing from auxiliary, potential, or a compound power source. While this board is no longer available from the OEM, it is typically available as an in-stock product here at AX Control.
The DS200DACAG1ACC functions as an AC/DC converter board. The unit is powered by a 115 VAC source that uses the board’s components to produce a 125 VDC output. For redundancy needs, two DACA boards can be used. These boards connect to the same EPDM power board.
Data sheets, product manuals, and user guides that were originally published and provided by General Electric to end-users will have additional important information regarding this board’s hardware, installation procedures, and proper handling. Please review all safety precautions before you begin to unbox your purchase.
AX Control is a global supplier of industrial automation parts. We maintain a large on-hand inventory of parts from General Electric, Reliance, Fuji, Woodward, and others in our North Carolina warehouse to meet your needs more efficiently. Most purchase orders received and processed before 3 pm (Monday through Friday) will ship out before end of business day. If you have any special shipping requirements, let us know.
The DS200DACAG1ACC is an AC/DC converter board in the General Electric (GE) Mark V series. Here's how:
Functional characteristics
Power conversion: 115V or 230V AC input power can be converted to 125V DC output power, rated at about 1000W.
Energy storage: With local energy storage function, when the control power is completely lost, it can extend the system crossing time and ensure the uninterrupted operation of critical systems.
Excitation control: In gas, steam and hydraulic generators, support for field excitation helps control the AC terminal voltage and reactive volt-ampere output, which is critical to maintaining generator performance and stability.
Redundancy design: In the Mark V Series turbine control system, two boards can be used at the same time to achieve redundancy, and both boards can be connected to the same Mark V Series EPDM power board to ensure seamless and reliable power conversion.
Hardware characteristics
Voltage selection: The input voltage is selected by inserting the captive cable bundle into the JTX1 (for 115V AC input) or JTX2 (for 230V AC input) connector.
Maintainability design: Equipped with high-quality hardware components, designed for easy visual inspection for maintenance and configuration, the first two versions are backward compatible for easy integration into existing systems.
Application scenario: Mainly used in power systems such as gas, steam and hydraulic generators, it plays a key role in maintaining system stability and efficiency, and ensures the normal operation of generators by regulating voltage and supporting field excitation.
