DS200ACLEH1B Hub LAN Driver Board Mark V

The DS200ACLEH1B is designed to fit in the Mark V system.  It typically mounts within a standard Innovation series drive or within EX2100 exciter board rack, using two half slots.  The Mark V was the second of GE’s Speedtronic systems to offer a TMR (triple modular redundant) architecture, which significantly increased the reliability of the system.  For less complicated smaller turbines, the MKV also has the option of setup in Simplex form.  It is designed with built-in diagnostics with fault identification down to the board level, a direct sensor interface, and online maintenance.   It is worth noting that boards within the DS200 series do not offer any type of updated firmware or hardware; if these are necessary, please search our site for similar DS215 boards. 

The DS200ACLEH1B is a Hub LAN driver board.  This application control layer card can be used as a control layer module with the ability to perform several duties over the MKV communication networks with the addition of a PC/104 IS/Bus extension board.   

The DS200ACLEH1B has multiple integrated circuits on its surface.  This includes a read-only chip carrying the board’s revision record (major and minor,) its catalog number, and its serial number.  Another chip functions as an onboard timer, and a third larger chip component is the board’s CPU.  Other board components include a header connector, vertical pin cable connectors (male) and vertical connectors (female.)  The board also has resistors, diodes, transistors, and capacitors.
