Product Description

The IC3600AFGB1B is a Function Generator Board for the MKI/MKII series.  The first two Speedtronic series were created by GE to manage gas/steam turbine systems in 1969 and 1973.  They are functional at temperatures as varied as -50C to +50C and are used in a variety of applications, including pipeline, utility, and marine situations, including offshore.   The MKI and MKII are designed to control, protect, and monitor the turbine system and its auxiliaries with reliable, safe machine operation with high accuracy and quick response.

The IC3600AFGB1B  has four trim potentiometers and eleven transistors on its surface.  The board uses transistors of varying designs and powers. All potentiometers are located along a single edge.  The board has over thirty resistors; this includes a number of carbon composite resistors and two large, wire wound resistors.  The latter components are marked and rated 6618 IRC PW-10 750 Ω 5% and 7127 IRC PW10 500 Ω 8%.  The wire wound resistors are through-hole components, mounted horizontally, but many other resistors, capacitors, and diodes on the board have been mounted vertically.   The board is built using several polyester vinyl capacitors.
