Product Description

The GE Multi Cony Coordinator Auxiliary Board DS3800DCCB features 6 resistor capacitors with identifiers. The IDs are CEMF, IOC, VMTR, IMTR, VFBH, and IFBK. The GE Multi Cony Coordinator Auxiliary Board DS3800DCCB is also populated with 1 20-pin ribbon cable that serves as the main signal connection to other components in the drive. The ribbon cable is approximately 8 inches in length and it is permanently attached to the board. It plugs into a connector near the board in the interior of the drive.

Because of the short cable length and the tight space inside the drive you might attempt  to pull the board out of the drive and tug the ribbon cable out with it. However, the ribbon cable is easy to break and cause the fine wires in the ribbon cable to break away from the plastic connector. If the connection is broken the signal will not be completed. To save the ribbon cable from damage, always hold the connector at the end of the ribbon cable when you disconnect it.  When you are ready to connect it, also hold the connector at the end of the ribbon cable. Align it with the connector and press it into the connector on the board.
