• Analog input and output: contains 4 20mA DC analog input channels and 4 20mA DC analog output channels. Each input channel can accept analog sensor inputs, such as 4-20mA transmitters or self-powered 20mA power supplies; Each output channel can drive an external load and produce 0-20 mA output. The input/output channels are electrically isolated from the ground.

• Signal conversion and processing: Perform the signal conversion required by the electrical input interface to convert the field sensor output signal to an optional redundant fieldbus. Analog I/O applications can be executed with configurable options such as conversion time, fail-safe configuration (hold/rollback), and analog output fail-safe rollback data (on a per-channel basis).

• Compatible with Standard HART signals: The FBM204 is electrically compatible with standard HART signals, which means it can communicate and interact with devices that support the HART protocol, obtaining more device information and status data.

• Application: FBM204 is widely used in industrial automation control fields, such as chemical, electric power, oil and gas, metallurgy, paper, cement and other industries. In these industries, it can be used in process control systems for acquisition and output control of analog signals, such as:

• Temperature control: The signal of the temperature sensor, such as the output of a thermocouple or thermal resistor, is converted into a digital signal and transmitted to the control system, which determines how to control the heating or cooling equipment based on the temperature measurement to maintain the desired temperature set point. At the same time, the control signal can also be output to an actuator, such as a regulating valve or frequency converter, to adjust the flow or power of the heating or cooling medium to achieve precise temperature control.

• Pressure control: Connect pressure transmitters to collect pressure signals for monitoring and controlling pressure in pipelines, containers or equipment. According to the pressure measurement, the control system can keep the pressure within the set range by adjusting equipment such as pumps, valves or compressors to ensure the safety and stability of the production process.

• Flow control: Used for flow measurement and control, in conjunction with flow transmitters, to convert flow signals into signals that can be processed by the control system.
