Product Description
DS200ACLEH1 Mark V Hub LAN Driver Card
The DS200ACLEH1 is a Mark V board component. This board typically mounts within an EX2100 exciter board rack or within a standard Innovation series drive. The Mark V was one of the last of the Speedtronic systems to be released by GE, although it was only the second of the series to offer a triple modular redundant architecture. The MKV also has available online maintenance, direct sensor interface, and built-in diagnostics that allow faults to be identified down to the board level for the panel.
The DS200ACLEH1 functions as a Hub LAN Driver Card. This is an application control layer board that is sometimes used with an added PC/104 ISBus extension board to create a control layer module that can perform multiple duties over the MKV communication networks. The DS200ACLEH1 can communicate with various parts of the MKV system, including the Control System Toolbox (via TCP/IP) and the CIMPLICITY graphics software (via Ethernet.)
The DS200ACLEH1 is populated by various components on its rectangular surface, including a read-only chip with the board’s serial number, major and minor revision record, and board catalog number. The board has an onboard timer (programmable) that will produce a periodic time signal to the DSPX board through a LAN signal carried via the P1 connector. Other components include a CPU chip, a header connector to connect to the optional board component, various vertical pin ribbon connectors (male and female) transistors, resistors, diodes, and capacitors.
