The DS200ACNAG1ABB is an ARCNET board created by General Electric for use within their Mark V turbine control systems.  The Mark V was a TMR (triple modular redundant) control system created by GE for the management of industrial turbine systems.  

The DS200ACNAG1ABB is used to establish connections between the system’s regulator and ARCNET data.   Connections are established using coaxial cables.  The ACNA board can be used as a termination point for two coaxial cables. 

The DS200ACNAG1ABB is a very small board component.  The unit includes two BNC connectors that extend past the top edge.  Two grounding holes have been drilled through the unit, one close to each short board edge.   The center of the board has a single vertical 6-pin connector.   The unit is marked with the GE logo, with wiring codes, and with other identifiers including reference designations.   The board’s two relays both carry relay diagrams on their upper surfaces.  Other board components include transistors, integrated circuits, resistors, capacitors, and diodes. 

It is important to know that conventional ARCNET systems operate at a rate of 2.5 Mbps.  This limits their size to under four miles.  Longer distances will result in extended timeouts between nodes.
