DS200DCPAG1A  Mark V Speedtronic Control Processor Board

The DS200DCPAG1A is a Mark V board component that fits within the Mark V system.  The Mark V  is one of General Electric’s later Speedtronic systems for the management of gas/steam turbine systems.  This platform was designed with online maintenance, built-in diagnostics, and a modular design that made the replacement of faulty parts a simple procedure.  Individual boards communicate with each other using ARCNET connections.   It is important to note that DS200 series boards do not offer updated firmware or components.  These can be found in similar DS215 boards. 

The DS200DCPAG1A functions as a Control Processor Card.  It carries multiple reference designators for quick identification of components, codes like C-ESS and 6BA02, and the GE imprint.  The board is marked along two edges to allow for alignment within the rack.  It is drilled at least one time in each corner. 

The DS200DCPAG1A is heavily populated with components like vertical pin cable connectors (3,)  integrated circuits (17,) and resistor network arrays (24.)   The board also has capacitors, transistors, diodes, and resistors.  Resistors tend to be made from metal film.  Capacitors range from small ceramic to larger axial capacitors made from polyester vinyl and electrolytic material.
