Product Description
The GE IGBT AA/AB Snubber Board DS200IAXSG1A features three 8-pin connectors and multiple turn screws to vary the voltage output. The turn screws on the GE IGBT AA/AB Snubber Board DS200IAXSG1A are identified with alphabetic descriptors. They are labeled PL, NL, U, V, W, PR, and NR. You can adjust the adjustment screws with a screwdriver when needed. The board also contains foil capacitors used during normal processing.
The capacitors and all the components on the board are easy to break off unless the guidelines for handling the board are followed. It is shipped in a sturdy cardboard box that protects the board from normal hazards encountered during shipping. If the box has dents or has been bashed in or shows signs that liquids spilled or dripped on the box, the board might have been damaged. Open the box and gather all the written information, including warranty information, service instructions, and product information. Unless you need to install the board immediately, put it aside and out of sight so that others don’t handle it and possibly damage the board.
Use a sharp blade to cut the protective bag open at one end without cutting into the board. Grasp the edge of the board and pull it out of the bag. Flatten out the bag and place the board on the bag. Wear a wrist strap when you touch the board with one end of the strap around your wrist and the other end connected to a metal object like a workbench leg or other metal object.
