Working principle:
The turbine sensor and the preamplifier form an oscillator, and the amplitude decreases as the sensor probe approaches and decays with the metal object being measured. The amplitude of the attenuation is proportional to the distance between the sensor and the object being measured. Before leaving the factory, the calibration material 42CrMo4 has been used to perform a complete linear calibration of the sensor and proximitor, so there is no need for further calibration during installation. The user only needs to adjust the air gap between the sensor and the measuring surface until the desired signal is obtained from the output of the front mount.
Sensor model:
In order to meet various measurement needs and environmental requirements, EPRO provides various models and configurations of turbine sensors for users to choose from.
Sensors come with mounting threads or rectangular mounting flanges.
The measurement range is 1mm to 20mm.
Thread size is ф 6mm ф 10mm and ф 18mm metric or inch threads.
Depending on the model, the sensor can have the following options:
1. Different thread lengths;
2. The end of the cable can choose a self-locking waterproof joint or bare wire method;
3. The cable can be armored or non armored;
4. The 1m cable can be selected with or without joints;
5. Applicable temperature: -35 ℃ -+380 ℃.
Explanation:
Calibration: At the time of delivery, the sensors and proximitors have been linearly calibrated at the factory. The standard calibration material is 42CrMo4, as per SAE4140 standard. If requested by the user, other materials can also be used for calibration, but the air gap between the sensor and the measured object needs to be adjusted on-site.
Corrosion resistance of sensors and cables at room temperature:
Waterproof, moisture-proof, natural gas resistant, helium resistant, oil resistant, and benzene resistant organic compounds.
Standard accessories:
Sensor PR6422/... - PR6425/...: Two fastening nuts: 4-meter connecting cable.
Sensor PR6426/...: Two M8 × 20 screws (according to standard DIN933-A2)
Two anti slip gaskets (according to standard DIN463-A2)
Proximitor CON011, CON021, CON031 series:
According to the requirements of the unit, EPRO offers three series of different models of proximitors to choose from. The internal circuits of various proximitors are the same and can be suitable for various sensors.
The power supply and output signal are connected through screw terminals, and there are two options for connecting sensors and proximitors:
-Connect through LEMO plug.
-Connect through screw terminals.
Various sensors and proxies can be installed in hazardous environments after installing safety barriers (CON.../91... series proxies cannot be used in explosion-proof situations).
The CON011 series has a protection level of IP67 and is connected to the sensor through an LEMO plug.
The CON021 series has a protection level of IP20 and is connected to the sensor through an LEMO plug.
The CON031 series has a protection level of IP20 and is connected to sensors with bare wires at the end through screw terminals.
