Product Description

The 531X102CCHAHM2 is a large circuit board. The 531X102CCHAHM2 is manufactured by General Electric. The 531X102CCHAHM2 has over one-hundred diodes. The diodes control the flow of energy by having a low resistance in one direction and a high resistance in the opposite direction. The 531X102CCHAHM2 also has six red LEDs which emit light as current flows through them. The 531X102CCHAHM2 also has over sixty various capacitors. Capacitors are used to store an electric charge, consisting of one or more pairs of conductors separated by an insulator. The 531X102CCHAHM2 has thirty-five Integrated Circuits. Integrated Circuits are the brains of the circuit board. They hold all the programming and data for the circuit board to function. The Integrated Circuits are split into two groups called EPROM and EEPROM. Both groups hold the programming data the only difference it the EPROM can be programmed with new data when it becomes available while the EEPROM cannot. There are seven male terminal ports that connect the 531X102CCHAHM2 to surrounding circuit boards.  The 531X102CCHAHM2 has over one-hundred resistors. Some of these resistors do have multiple colored bands on them. The bands on the resistors correspond with a color code. Each colored band corresponds with a color in the code that gives it a numerical value. These numerical values are then used in an equation to calculate the amount of energy the resistor can restrict. The resistor is a passive two-terminal electrical component that implements electrical resistance as a circuit element. In electronic circuits, resistors are used in a multitude of ways such as reducing current flow, adjusting signal levels, dividing voltages, bias active elements, and terminating transmission lines, among other uses.
