Product Description
The GE Cell State Sensor Board DS200CSSAG1BCA contains two 40-pin connectors and is 4 inches in height and 11 inches in width. It also contains one 4-pin connector and one 9-pin connector. When the GE Cell State Sensor Board DS200CSSAG1BCA is installed in the drive, you are exposed to the high energy current that is contained in the drive when power is on and you must follow guidelines to make sure the power is removed from the drive.
Always assume that the power is on when you reach into the interior of the drive, such as the board cabinet. The DC power to the drive is supplied by devices that are equipped with fuses and when you remove the fuses the devices are disabled and power supplied to the drive is stopped. Refer to the information that came with the devices to remove the fuses or by other means disable the devices. Wait thirty seconds before you proceed to let all current leave the drive. Some components store power during normal operation and the thirty second delay enables the current to drain off or dissipate.
Before you touch anything use a tester to verify that the power is off. The tester controls must be set correctly and you must be sure the device is approved for the purpose. Make sure the probes are not worn and are the approved probes for the tester. How to test the drive for power is described in the diagrams, instructions, and written materials provided with the drive.
