Product Description
The GE Generator Control Turbine Board DS200CVMAG1 contains two 16-pin connectors and one 2-pin connector. The board also is populated with 6 test points. The board is 11 inches wide and 4 inches high. The board rack in the drive is designed to accommodate the GE Generator Control Turbine Board DS200CVMAG1. The rack space has screw holes that will align with the board and enable you to secure the board. When you are ready to insert the board in the cabinet, make sure the board doesn’t scrap against the structure or any other boards in the cabinet.
The same caution applies to the screwdriver you use to remove the screws when you remove the old board and install the new board. The components are easily damaged and so you must be careful and the best practice is to have a good line of sight so you can see the board and guide it into the cabinet. You must also have a good line of sight when you use the screwdriver.
If the board seems to be not performing properly and you want to diagnose the board, the board has 6 test ports that you can use for testing purposes. Each test point is used to test a specific circuit in the board. Whenever you use test equipment, there are some basic guidelines you can follow. Inspect the probes and make sure they are compatible with the tester and are not worn. If the probe contains insulation, make sure it is not frayed.
