The GE IOS + Power Connect Board DS200DPCAG1ADC features 3 terminal blocks for 3 wires in each block and one toggle switch. The DS200DPCAG1 also features one fuse and four 26-pin connectors. The board also contains multiple test points that a servicer or other qualified individual can use to test the circuits on the board. The test points are bare metal posts that the servicer can test with a testing device.

The four 26-pin connectors are used to connect ribbon cables to the board. The ribbon cables carry signals that are transmitted to other components or received from other components in the drive.  The ribbon cables require some special handling instructions when you are planning the replacement of the board. First, look at the defective board and note what cables are connected to the 26-pin connectors. Write on a small strip of tape the letter and number code printed on the board. Stick it firmly on the ribbon cable so you’ll know where to attach it on the replacement board. The small wires on the ribbon cable are easily broken off from the plastic connector and without that connection the signal would be unavailable to the board for processing.

Use your thumb and forefinger to grasp the plastic connector and gently pull the ribbon cable from the board to disconnect it. To connect the ribbon cable, hold the connector at the end of the ribbon cable and align it with the connector on the board. Then, press it in the connector.
