The GE Genius Adapter Board DS200ADPAG1ABB features one 40-pin connector and one 26-pin connector. It also has one 3-pin connector and one 10-pin connector. The GE Genius Adapter Board DS200ADPAG1ABB comes with holes for use when you replace the board. The board is 8.5 inches in length and 2.75 inches in height. The interior of the drive has a specific location designed for the board with screws holes that align with the holes on the board.  After the power is removed from the drive and you have tested the drive to verify that it is safe to touch the interior components and boards, locate the DS200ADPAG1ABB and examine several factors before you remove it. First, notice the location of the board in the drive and where the board is attached to the drive. The servicer will attach the replacement board in the same location and it is best to note any boards or cables that might be blocking access to the board.

Prepare to move aside any cables that block access to the drive or that have fragile components that you want to avoid hitting.  Also note the cables attached to the board and how the cables are routed in the drive. It is important to route the cables the same way because the cables carry sensitive signals that are prone to interference from power cables. Also, air flow is important to keep the components cool and improper cable routing can interfere with the free flow of air.
