Product Description

The GE Contactor Driver Board DS200CDBAG1B opens and closes a contactor. You’ll find that replacing the DS200CDBAG1B is easy and quick because of several important design features of the drive and the board. First, the board is housed in a cabinet that is easily accessible to the servicer. Also, brackets are used to support the weight of the board and hold the board in place. Four screws hold the board in the drive. They are easy to access and remove the screws. All connectors are easy to open and enable the servicer to remove all cables from the board.

When you remove the four screws that secure the board, place the four screws in a safe place for future use. You’ll need the screws to secure the replace board in place. Also the connectors are designed so that the servicer can be sure the connectors are fully seated.  That is, the connectors don’t click into place until the connections are complete.

One important consideration is that you should only remove the replacement board from the static package only immediately before you are ready to install it. This will reduce the chance of static build up on the board.

You’ll notice one jumper on the DS200CDBAG1B. It is reserved for use at the factory for testing purposes. It is a 3-pin jumper and the 1 and 2 pins must remain covered for normal operation. When pins 2 and 3 are covered, it is for factory use only.
