Product Description
The GE DOS DUP Processor Board DS200DMCBG2A contains three 26-pin connectors, one 40-pin connector, and 19 jumpers. The board also has 2 LEDs and two fuses. If you find that the GE DOS DUP Processor Board DS200DMCBG2A is not functioning properly there are multiple actions you can take to identify the problem. One is to run the diagnostic tools supplied by the drive. The diagnostic tool is available from the drive control panel. The control panel has a menu of activities you can perform and one is to run the diagnostics. Another is to edit the configuration file to change the behavior of the drive.
You can select to display the results of the diagnostic tool on the display or download the file to a laptop through the serial connector on the drive. With the diagnostic file downloaded on the laptop, you can scroll through the results and save the file for future use. For example, you can compare the diagnostic results to the results obtained after you have resolved the issue.
Another source of diagnostic information is the two LEDs on the board. When activity is occurring on the board, the LEDs flash to indicate that normal operations are taking place. If the LEDs are not flashing it indicates that processing is not occurring and that a problem might exist. In that case, check the fuses on the board and verify that all circuits are working. If the fuses are blown, replace them with a fuse with the same rating.
