The DS200FHVAG1ADA special-purpose board is part of GE’s Mark V Speedtronic turbine control system.  Please note this is only one version of this board available within our on-hand stock, so be sure to order the correct version of this PCB for your particular application.  Most commonly, it is safe to replace a board with an exact duplicate that matches all letters and numbers in the part ID. 

The DS200FHVAG1ADA board functions as a high voltage gate interface board.  It is used as an SCR gate interface and provides cell voltage monitoring for the LCI power converter.   Each SCR within the Mark V system uses one of these boards.     The board uses convection cooling and does not require a fan or a power supply.  Please note the DS200FHVAG1ADA has an identified potential shock and burn hazard.  Be sure you understand all risks before beginning any sort of installation or maintenance procedure. 

The DS200FHVAG1ADA includes an SCR Cell status circuit, a gate termination circuit, and a gate pulse transformer.   The gate pulse transformer uses a toroidal current transformer that has been soldered to the board.  Additionally, there is a diagnostic LED that will provide a visual indication of bridge power.
