The GE High Voltage Gate Interface Board DS200FHVAG2 is an interface between the SCR bridge and the LCI power converter and also provides cell monitoring functions to the LCI power converter. The DS200FHVAG2 board has 1 LED indicator that you can use for troubleshooting. The LED indicator is lit when bridge power is on. The LED dims as the power decreases.

You can view the LED while the drive is powered on and the board is operating, however the board contains high-voltage electricity and can result in injury, fire, equipment damage or death if the board it touched while operating. So, if you suspect a problem with the board, view the LED and verify that the board is working properly.

The replacement board arrives at your location wrapped in a static-protective bag because the board can be damaged by static electricity. Best practice is to keep the board wrapped in the bag until you are ready to install it. Keep the board wrapped and hold the board with one hand on one edge of the board and the other hand on the other edge. Touch the bag to an unpainted metal surface on the drive or any nearby structure or equipment. This action drains all the static from your body and from the board. Then,  remove the board from the bag and insert it into the drive and place it on the board carrier.

You can put it down if you have to by flattening out the bag on a flat surface and placing the board directly on the bag.
