The I/O SERVER is mainly used for monitoring field equipment, system alarm, collecting and transmitting industrial site data, recording historical data and generating reports, etc. The CLIENT DISPLAY acts as an operational monitoring station that obtains data from the I/O SERVER for use in a poor industrial site.
